The process begins with an in-person consultation. From the moment we meet, I will be asking you questions about the space. I’m taking all your answers, likes, and dislikes into consideration, as well as spatial coloring, lighting, and fixtures. Each step of the process is to make sure we are aligned and excited about the upcoming changes.

Do you offer payment plans?

Can I see the mural during the painting process?

Yes, this process is a collaboration - I want you to love the design as much as I do!

Can I choose what kind of paint I want to use?

If you have a particular paint color from another brand that you favor or would like to use instead of mine than yes, I can make adjustments to match your paint preferences.

How do I prep my space?

We will discuss your specific space needs before I begin, but typically you’ll need to wash your walls with warm soapy water, take off fixtures such as light switch covers or shelving, and getting the base color applied to the walls before I begin always saves time - although this is a service I can provide as well.

Do you travel?

The easiest area for me to serve is around the Minneapolis and St. Paul Metro area - However, I am willing to travel to do the installation process provided there’s room in the budget for me to get miles and lodging reimbursement.

Am I able to make requests in the design?

Yes, this process is a collaboration - I want you to love the design as much as I do!

How long does the mural process take?

On average 3-5 weeks. The initial stages of the design process takes about 2 weeks, this gives me time to think over what we discussed in the consultation, generate some ideas and get those to final stages per approval. The installation process can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks depending on schedules aligning and any impending time factors.

Will I be able to use the space you’re painting in?

Yes, to some extent. While I am in the space painting, I typically need to occupy the space alone, but you will be able to carefully use the space after I am done painting for the day - just be sure not to touch the wet paint! 

Are there specific care instructions for when it's done?

Not really! With the high quality paint I’m using you’ll be able to wash your walls, shower or bathe, hang art, and put shelves up as you would normally do. 

I’ll clean up after myself after each painting session. I will need a space to store the paint and other tools there while I am not working. I will need a sink to clean out my brushes in periodically during the painting process.
