I’ve updated my etsy shop, since I am finally over that horrible pneumonia that kept me down for all of May and most of June.
I’m selling some paintings, as well as new prints and some t-shirts.

I noticed that I am not updating this blog as often as I should be. Perhaps I should link to my other blog, MonsterTown, which I have been keeping for nearly three years now. It’s not entirely focused on art, as I was hoping this one would be, but there’s more there.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Alchemy Craft Fair on Sunday. It was a really fun event, I’m looking forward to more of them. For those of you whom I talked to about t-shirts and things, please feel free to send me an email!
I am super happy with the things that I bought and traded for. I am in love with my new limited edition tote bag and redwood day planner from Jill Bliss . I love the pockets inside the bag, and the drawing on the outside of the bag!

this is my daughter, weaving with a little Harrisville loom that I picked up at a thrift store earlier in the year. I really recommend these for kids, we have the peg loom, and it’s really a nicely made product, and easy for kids to use.

Todd and I are going to hang our show in about half an hour! I am excited to see our work together on a nice white wall.
Sadly, I have been really sick, yet again. I have a sinus infection that came on after a long and tiring cold. Because of the sickness, I wasn’t able to make as much new work as I had hoped to. There is some though, and hopefully people will like it. I plan to add new little pieces throughout the month as I finish them. A new winter print series is in the works too, hopefully in time for xmas gifting.
If you are in the area, please come out to Moxie on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 5-8pm for our opening. 600 Mendocino Ave in Santa Rosa. Hopefully we’ll have some hot cider or something.

I’m going to have a show at Moxie on December 9. The opening party will be from 5pm-8pm.
I was going to do it all by myself, but it’s better with a friend, so Todd Barricklow will be joining me and showing a new series of tag drawings.
I’ll have new work too, and I think both Todd and I plan to have plenty of work for under $50 for holiday gift giving.

I am keeping super busy, painting, designing shirts, drawing, thinking, and getting ready for my favorite three shows of the year. San Francisco Open Studios is coming up and that was a blast last year. I’m going to show around 30 new paintings there.
A few weeks after that will be my solo show at Moxie here in Santa Rosa, which is a fun time too. I want to keep this show super affordable and fun. I’m going to show lots of drawings, and of course paintings too.
In between both of those is the Day of the Dead show at Boomerang gallery in Petaluma which is consistently a great show. 20-30 different artists all working on the same theme, and this year they want it to be a more light hearted take, like the traditional Mexican Calacas . I still haven’t made my painting for this show, but I have some ideas.
